Pull & Binder

01 — Privacy

Privacy policy

No accounts, no advertising networks, no data sales. Analytics and affiliate links are the only two places a third party sees anything, and both are described here in full.

02

Who runs this site

Pull & Binder is published by MadGrey LLC. Any question about this policy, or any request to see or delete information we hold, goes to contact@pullandbinder.com. That is a real address, read by a person.

03

Information you give us

There is exactly one place on this site where you can submit information: the form on the contact page. It asks for your name, your email address, an optional phone number and your message.

  • What happens to it. The submission is emailed to us so we can reply. It is not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing and not passed to anyone else.
  • How long we keep it. As long as the email thread stays useful — typically until the question is resolved, and in our mailbox after that like any other correspondence.
  • The spam checks. The form includes a hidden field bots fill in and a timestamp recording when the page loaded, and the server limits submissions per IP address. These exist to reject automated spam, not to profile you.
  • No account, ever. There is nothing to sign up for on this site, so there are no passwords or profiles to lose.

04

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and which they leave. It is the only analytics tool on the site. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to Google, which processes the data on our behalf.

Google Analytics data is pseudonymous: it is tied to a browser, not to a name. We never upload any personal information to it.

Your web server logs exist too — the hosting platform records requests for operational and security reasons, as every web host does. We do not mine those logs.

05

Most product links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one you are sent to the retailer, usually Amazon, which sets its own cookie so any purchase can be attributed to us. That is how the site is funded, and it is explained in full on the affiliate disclosure page.

  • What the retailer tells us. Nothing identifying. Amazon reports aggregate activity: items ordered, commission earned. Never a name, address or payment detail.
  • What we tell the retailer. Only that the click came from this site, via the tracking tag in the link.
  • Cost to you. None. The price is the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly.
  • The retailer's own policy applies from the moment you land on their site. Theirs, not ours.

06

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. There is no circumstance in which that would happen.
  • We do not run advertising networks. No display ads, no retargeting pixels, no ad-tech scripts of any kind.
  • We do not run a newsletter at the time of writing, so there is no email list you could be added to.
  • We do not use social media tracking pixels. No Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, nothing of that sort.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from children. This site is written for adults buying for children, not for children.

07

Your choices

  • Block the analytics. Browser settings, a tracking blocker or Google's own opt-out browser add-on will all stop Google Analytics from running here. Nothing on the site breaks if you do.
  • Clear or refuse cookies. Your browser can block or delete them at any time. The site works fine without them because there is nothing to stay logged in to.
  • Ask what we hold. Email contact@pullandbinder.com and we will tell you, and delete it if you ask. In practice the answer is almost always "an email thread you started".
  • Use Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. We do not sell data in the first place, so there is nothing for these signals to switch off — but we are not working against them either.

08

Where the data goes

The site is hosted on Vercel's global network, analytics is processed by Google, contact-form email is delivered via Microsoft's cloud, and affiliate clicks go to the retailer you clicked through to. All four are large providers operating across multiple countries, so data may be processed outside the one you are reading from.

09

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters — a new third party, a new kind of data — we will update the date shown in the byline at the top of this page and describe what changed here. We will not quietly broaden it.

10

Questions people actually ask

Do you sell my data?
No. There is no arrangement under which that would happen, and the only personal information we ever hold is a contact-form message you chose to send us.
Do I have to accept cookies to use this site?
No. Block or delete them and every page still works — there is nothing on this site to stay logged in to. Blocking cookies stops Google Analytics from counting your visit.
What does Amazon learn about me when I click a link here?
The same as if you had typed the product name into Amazon yourself, plus a tracking tag telling them the click came from this site. Their privacy policy governs everything after that point.
Do you have a newsletter?
Not at the time of writing, so there is no list to be added to and nothing to unsubscribe from. If one ever launches it will be opt-in only.
How do I ask you to delete what you hold about me?
Email contact@pullandbinder.com from the address you contacted us with and ask. We will delete the thread and confirm.
